A Note From the Composer:
I hadn’t even been composing for a year when one of my high school friends asked me to write him a piece for saxophone. I got to work on it, but, being a “baby” composer, I didn’t yet have the personal drive to finish the piece (like many young composers experience). As is with most of my early-begun compositions, the file sat in my laptop for a good four years. Realizing that what I had started had some good potential, I finished it up during my senior year of college and had it performed for my composition recital. Needless to say, I did send that friend the final product once it was finished, even after all those years (don’t worry – I didn’t charge him for it)!
